Who We Are
Real people serving
real needs since 1963.
Heritage
Family-led from day one.
Founded by Jack Londen and carried forward by Tom and now Alex Londen. Three generations of leadership built on one idea: serve people in person, face to face, at the kitchen table.
Agents First
You are the foundation.
Our agents are the heart of everything we do. Supporting your success has always been — and will always be — our top priority. We don’t grow unless you grow.
Brand Power
A household name families ask for.
For over 60 years, Funeral Advantage has been everywhere families look – on TV, in the mail, and across digital media. When you walk through the door, they already know who you are.
The Opportunity
How leads actually get worked.
Funeral Advantage is a flagship final expense offering families ask for by name. Your job isn’t to convince, it’s to show up and listen.
01 / Request
Families ask us first.
Every lead comes from a family that specifically responded to a Funeral Advantage mailer or digital ad. No cold calls. No shared lists.
02 / Route
Leads delivered to you.
Fresh, in-house leads are routed to agents by territory — exclusive while you work them. You set the appointment, we keep the funnel full.
03 / Sit
Closings at the kitchen table
Meet families at home. Walk through the product, the free Funeral Consumer Guardian Society® membership, and a one-page application. Most decisions are made at the table.
04 / Issue
Same day advances.
Most applications are written on the same day. Commission is advanced daily on issued business — no waiting on a payroll cycle.
Income Potential
Same day advances.
Residual income opportunity.
Funeral Advantage agents can earn on every policy they write, get paid daily on issued business, and keep vested renewals that pay for years after the sale.

Qualification
Is this career right for you?
Funeral Advantage agents are independent contractors. The opportunity is real — but it’s not for everyone. Here’s an honest read before you apply.
This is for you if
- You like people and you’d rather sit with them than dial them.
- You’re coachable and self-directed — comfortable running your own week.
- You’re willing to drive your territory and keep a full appointment calendar.
- You want uncapped income tied to your effort, not a salary band.
- You’re already licensed to sell life insurance — or are open to getting licensed with the help of a local agency near you.
Probably not a fit if
- You want a hands-off desk job or a guaranteed salary.
- You’d rather work the phones than meet families face-to-face.
- You’re not open to background, licensing, or compliance requirements.
Your Path
Two tracks. One destination.
Whether you’ve written 100 policies or you’ve never sold insurance, there’s a clear track from here to your best income year.
Track A
New to insurance
Our partnered agencies help you through licensing and put you in the field with a producer.
- Licensing study materials and exam-prep support
- Ride-along training with a top producer
- Field manager assigned from week one
Track B
Licensed agent
If you’re already producing — or you’re burned out chasing telesales leads — try our flagship product and consistent in-house lead flow.
- Vested renewals you keep
- Agency-building opportunities
Frequently Asked
The honest answers.
Do I need to be licensed to apply?
No. We hire both licensed agents and career-changers. If you’re not licensed yet, we’ll guide you through the process for your state.
Is this employment or 1099?
Independent contractor (1099). You’re in business for yourself — but you’re not by yourself. You set your schedule and own your renewals.
Do I pay for leads?
We have in-house lead programs designed for new agents to ramp affordably, and scaled programs for top producers. We’ll walk through the options on your interview.
What states do you hire in?
Most U.S. states. Funeral Advantage field opportunities are not available in NY or WA.
How fast is the interview?
A regional manager will reach out within one business day to schedule a short phone or video call. No résumé required.

Exclusions, limitations, and coverage details: not available in New York or Washington. Funeral Advantage is a life insurance policy underwritten by Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company® on form ICC13FEAPPR. It includes a two-year contestability period during which claims may be denied for material misstatements on the application. Suicide exclusion with refund of premium applies during the first two years (one year on CO, MN, MO, ND). No medical exam is required to apply. Most applicants qualify for full, immediate coverage based on answers to just a few health questions on the application. If you do not meet medical qualifications, you may still be eligible for modified coverage, which provides limited benefits for non-accidental death during the first years. Rates never increase and coverage can’t be cancelled as long as premiums are paid. Coverage and monthly premiums depend on the benefit selected and factors such as gender, age, and health data. Death benefits are paid to the beneficiary, who may use the proceeds for any purpose including funeral expenses. Benefits may vary by state.
